Black and White Gala 2009
PEMBROKE –
Magic doesn’t happen by accident. Rather, it’s carefully
crafted, and when done right, seems naturally effortless. But
behind the illusion is talent, impeccable timing, creativity and
a sense of fun. And magic was created at the Pembroke Regional
Hospital Foundation’s Black and White Gala, held on Saturday at
the Officers’ Mess at CFB Petawawa.
As one of the Ottawa Valley’s premiere social events, the Gala
promised elegance and more than a bit of glamour – and it
delivered.

August 14,
2009
East Side Mario’s and Geardheads raised $1,300.00 for the Foundation
at the third annual charity BBQ, bake sale and raffle. The lucky
winner of the raffle was Jason Kelly (employee of Scotiabank) who
won a Norco bike, two Ottawa Senators’ tickets and dinner at East
Side Mario’s. Thanks to Todd and Sally Fletcher (owners of East
Side Mario’s, Pembroke) and Damien and Tammy McCarthy (owners of
GeardHeads, Petawawa) and to everyone who came out in support of our
Hospital!

Featured in the photo (left to right) are Tammy McCarthy, Todd
Fletcher, Jason Kelly and Anne Naylen (Executive Director of the
PRH Foundation). |
