The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to provide you with a unique opportunity to support to the Pembroke Regional Hospital. As you may know, there is growing interest in “planning gifts” as a viable philanthropic avenue. 

Accordingly, we are making every effort to ensure that we have the programs in place to both recognize and receive these important contributions to support our health care mission.

Making a legacy gift is one of the most important statements that can be made during one’s lifetime.  For that reason, we believe recognition during one’s lifetime is not only appropriate and deserved, but also inspires others to give.

As a result of our Planned Giving seminar with Dr. Keon and our efforts in the area of donor development, we have been notified of existing, as well as new, legacy gifts naming the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation as beneficiary. This is an ideal time for us to launch our new recognition program, specifically designed to acknowledge and thank donors who have made a future gift.

Participation in The Legacy Circle requires a minimum future gift of $1,000, in the form of bequest, life insurance, annuity or trust arrangement to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. This program honours those whose have made such a provision and notified our Foundation directly, or through their representative. When a gift is realized upon the disposition of an estate, the donation is given additional recognition on our existing donor wall at the appropriate level.

This program will extend our warm appreciation to donors, help encourage others to give, and provide a unique way to give for those that want to give, but are unable to during their lifetime. This program will also provide the PRH Foundation with the tools it needs to better understand and follow planned giving activity in our community.

We are sharing this program with members of the Hospital and Foundation Boards at this time to encourage you to come forward with any gift intentions previously documented and to give you the opportunity to consider making a gift now.
